Safeguarding Culture

A Nigeria where every cultural tradition, language, and indigenous knowledge is valued, preserved, and passed down for future generations. Our vision is to create a world in which Nigerian communities, especially the youth, are actively engaged in preserving their heritage, with a global audience that celebrates and supports the diversity of Nigerian culture.

What we do

Our Pillars

Archiving Intangible Cultural Heritage

In order to ensure that intangible culture is available in an accessible manner. We take a crowd-sourced approach with our archiving platform

Preservation

Culture is green. It remains a living expression. It is part of the people and not just documented. We use our framework to galvanize youth into working in this space to ensure that the knowledge is passed down to the next generation

Inclusivity

There are cultural elements that are shared by multiple ethnic groups/ tribes/ communities. We follow an inclusive participation of culture, where pluralism is celebrated and respected

SDGs And UNESCO Conscious

We put a strong emphasis on the SDGs, particularly as they relate to the preservation of Intangible Cultural Heritage. In addition we place emphasis on frameworks and mandates of UNESCO
